Willow, cattail and rush reed — all harvested from the marshes around Madahu Lake in Boxing County, Shandong. There is no plastic core, no synthetic dye and no chemical finish anywhere in the process: the rods are soaked in water, woven by hand and dried in the shade. The result is 100% biodegradable, and safe for food contact, pets and children.

It varies by item, because a coaster and a laundry hamper are very different amounts of work. Small items (coasters, trays, small wall decor): 200 pcs. Medium baskets (picnic, storage, pet beds): 100–150 pcs. Large items (laundry hampers, log baskets): 30–50 pcs. Samples are available from just 1 pc, so you can check the weave, colour and finish before placing a bulk order.

7–15 days for standard items, counted from deposit confirmation to dispatch. Custom or OEM orders take 20–30 days, because new sizes, colours, patterns, labels or packaging need sampling and approval first. August to November is peak season ahead of Christmas and can add a few days — tell us your deadline early and we will confirm the dates in writing.

Yes, and for natural-fibre goods it is not optional. Fumigation or heat treatment is mandatory for shipments entering the EU, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We arrange it as standard on export orders: IPPC-stamped pallets, a phytosanitary certificate (valid 21 days from issue, so we time it to your vessel) and the fumigation certificate. Budget roughly 500–1,000 RMB per batch; it is already included in our quotations unless you ask us to quote it separately.

Yes — customization is most of what we do. Custom dimensions, natural or dyed willow colours, weave patterns, woven-in or sewn-on brand labels, hang tags, fabric liners and retail packaging are all available. Send a drawing, a photo or a rough sketch: if you can draw it, we can weave it. Custom sampling usually takes 5–10 days, and the sample cost is credited against your first bulk order.

Sea freight: 15–35 days port to port, and by far the cheapest option for pallets or full containers. Air freight: 5–10 days. Express couriers (DHL / FedEx / UPS): 3–7 days door to door, best for samples and small urgent orders. We quote FOB Qingdao by default, and can arrange CIF or DDP if you would rather we handle the whole journey to your warehouse.

PayPal, Alipay and bank transfer (T/T). Standard terms for bulk orders are 30% deposit to start production and 70% balance against the B/L copy, so your money is only fully released once the goods are on the water. Sample orders are paid in full before dispatch. All prices are quoted in USD unless you ask otherwise.

Yes. Every basket is woven by hand, one strand at a time, by weavers in and around Wantou Village. No machine reproduces the over-under tension of hand weaving, so you will see small differences in colour, thickness and shape between pieces. That variation is the hallmark of handmade craft — not a defect. If a basket fails our hands-on check for a broken strand or a loose rim, it does not ship.
